I used to view online learning with great skepticism - until I took Online Learning: An Overview. After that, I was sold! I continued taking courses, and completed my Master Online Teacher certificate in fall 2006.
I'm a biologist by training - I completed my undergraduate work at Tufts University, my graduate work at the University of Colorado-Boulder, and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California, Irvine - and a faculty development professional by vocation. I've taught biology since 1990: onground, online, and in blended formats.
I've worked with other faculty members on course development (onground and online) and related topics since 1993; one of the things I truly enjoy about working with faculty members is the chance to develop new relationships and learn about other disciplines. I'm looking forward to working with you!
